Service · Tracking & reporting

Know exactly what you're paying for.

Most agencies send a PDF full of impressions and hope you don't ask questions. We track the numbers that pay your bills — calls, direction requests, bookings — and show you block by block where you rank, in a report that takes five minutes to read.

The philosophy

Numbers a business owner actually uses.

You shouldn't need an analytics degree to know if your marketing works. Three questions, answered monthly: is the phone ringing more, where are you winning on the map, and what did we do about the places you're not.

  • Calls tracked to their source — so 'SEO is working' is a number, not a vibe.
  • Grids, not averages — see the exact blocks where you win and lose.
  • A five-minute read — charts included, jargon banned.

Inside the report

Six sections. Zero fog.

  1. 01

    Grid rank maps

Your position for every money keyword, block by block, with last month beside it.

  2. 02

Calls & where they came from

Tracked numbers show which channel made the phone ring — profile, website or a specific page.

  3. 03

    Profile actions

Calls, direction requests and website clicks straight from your Google Business Profile.

  4. 04

    Review velocity & rating trend

New reviews, reply rate, and whether your average is climbing or drifting.

  5. 05

    Work completed

Every deliverable we shipped this month, listed plainly. No 'ongoing optimizations' fog.

  6. 06

    Next month's plan

What we're doing next and why — so the strategy is never a mystery.

No vanity metrics

If it doesn’t pay you, we don’t report it.

What we report

  • Phone calls & booked jobs
  • Direction requests
  • Top-3 map pack coverage
  • Review growth & rating
  • Leads per page

What we skip

  • Impressions
  • 'Brand awareness'
  • Follower counts
  • Rankings for keywords nobody types
  • Traffic that never calls

Impressions don’t pay rent. If a number can’t change a decision, it doesn’t make the report.

Cadence

Rhythm you can set a watch to.

Weekly

Checks & fixes

Rank spot-checks, spam watch, review monitoring. Problems get caught at week one, not month three.

Monthly

The report & a call

Five minutes to read, thirty to discuss if you want to. What moved, why, and what's next.

Quarterly

Strategy reset

Zoom out: what's compounding, what's stalled, where the next quarter's effort goes.

FAQ

Asked before
hiring us.

What is grid rank tracking?

Instead of checking your ranking once from one location, a grid checks it from dozens of points across your service area — a map of colored dots showing exactly where you're in the top three and where you're nowhere. It's the difference between 'trust us, rankings are up' and watching your color spread across the neighborhood month by month.

Do you record phone calls? Is that legal?

Call tracking is standard and legal; recording adds consent requirements that vary by state — some need one party's consent, some need both, which is what the 'this call may be recorded' line handles. We configure tracking to your state's rules, and recording is always your choice. Even without recording, you still see every call's source, duration and outcome.

Does a tracking number mess up my NAP consistency?

Not when it's set up correctly — this is a real risk of DIY call tracking done wrong. We use dynamic number insertion on your website, keep your real number on your Google profile and citations, and follow Google's own guidance for tracking numbers. You get attribution without polluting the consistency your rankings depend on.

What happens when the numbers go down?

You hear it from us first, with a diagnosis and a plan — not a quietly reshuffled report. Local rankings wobble: algorithm updates, new competitors, seasonality. The report exists to surface problems early while they're cheap to fix, not to make us look good. That's also why we track calls and bookings, which matter even when a keyword dips.

Can we see our data between monthly reports?

Yes — you get a live dashboard with your rankings, calls and review activity, available any time. The monthly report isn't a data dump; it's the interpretation: what changed, why, what we did about it and what's next. Data on demand, thinking once a month.

If we ever leave, do we keep the data?

All of it. The tracking numbers, the call history, the rank data, the dashboards — exported and handed over, no hostage-taking. It's your business's data; we just make it useful. Frankly, knowing you can leave with everything is part of why clients stay.
